This specification covers requirements for
a direct burial shielded multiconductor cable designed to transmit
signals or power between satellites, central controllers, central
computers, and sensing devices for irrigation systems. The cable
utilizes stranded insulated conductors, an aluminum shield and drain
wire to protect signals from electrical, magnetic or RF interference,
and a sunlight resistant PE outer jacket. The cable is UL listed and
rated at 30 volts and 60°C. |
